Background

Lacasse Safety Consulting is based in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia and was founded by Ryan Lacasse.

What is Health and Safety? Some believe it is the emotional component of bringing all workers home safe, some believe it is a method of disciplining employees when they do something that has created risk to themselves, coworkers or the organization itself, and some believe it is a stack of paper that sits on the edge of some desk.

Sure, there are components of all of these beliefs, but at Lacasse Safety Consulting we treat safety as another aspect of business. Working with clients to integrate safety management into day to day operations removes any clichés that may be associated with Health and Safety and creates a product that provides safer workplaces, happier employees, and the ability to meet compliance driven regulations.

This approach can be implemented into small, medium and large organizations to produce a sustainable view of Health and Safety that is evolved from the top management down and from front-line employees up.

Lacasse Safety Consulting was created to help share this approach with its clients and promote safety with successful results.

Bio

Ryan has 15 years’ experience working in Operational and Health and Safety related business functions in both the private and public sectors.

Starting his career as a Journeyman Roofer created the foundation for operational development and the introduction of Health and Safety, and provides a unique and insightful approach to implementation as a front-line construction worker.

Ryan holds a diploma from British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in Health and Safety and is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP).

Ryan has worked in multiple industries such as oil & gas, construction, municipal works, education, and has held multiple hybrid jobs running operations and health and safety.

In his spare time Ryan is an avid sports fan and enjoys camping with his family. Ryan appreciates discussing business but if you want to just talk sports he is always willing to do that too.
